Jane Austen and Travels

We spent our last day in Bath at the Jane Austen Museum, though we first made another visit to Sally Lunn Buns. We were forced by desire to stay there for quite a few hours, so when we finally got to the museum, it was fairly late in the afternoon. I was personally very excited about seeing this particular museum after having read two of the Jane Austen novels during our trip. However, the place wasn't quite what I had expected. The guides were knowledgeable, but rushed, and the exhibits were short-lived, with most of the activities consisting of watching television. It was a good pastime, but not something I would highly recommend. The length of our time spent in the museum, however, proved to be perfect because we were able to leave Bath directly afterwords.
Our trip out was directed towards London. It was a fairly uneventful one and we were all thrilled when we arrived at our elegant hotel. We arrived at the glorious Wyndham Grand Hotel and the stay has been amazing, so far. Arriving at such a pleasant place was the perfect end to our extremely busy day.
